INTERVAL TRAINING – HAVE YOU TRIED IT?

You’ve heard about it but have you tried it? Have you heard it is proven to keep burning calories way beyond the workout session? It’s as simple as working in 20 – 30 seconds of cardio between Bicep Curl sets or Skull Crushers or almost any other exercise sets except for core work – leave that to the end of the workout.

In my studio I use the spin bike, skipping, on the spot high knee jogging, step overs as examples. The cardio choices are many, the intensity is dependent on fitness level but cardio interspersed with various exercises is an alternative for those who are starting out on the fitness journey until they are able to progress to Tabata 20 secs on 10 rest which is the ultimate for HI training.
